man headlights are way too damn bright these days
and often badly aligned; headlight alignment is no longer on any routine service checkup list I've seen and on huge pickups, they're way too high off the road
basically any time I drive at night I have to scrunch down in the seat at least once to avoid being vaporized by one of my mirrors
We're behind the EU on this, but it should start to change soon. www.nytimes.com/2022/01/13/b...
The infrastructure law passed last year set a 2023 deadline for so-called adaptive driving beam headlights to be approved for American roads.
Ran into a truck with blue headlights the other day. Even during day time it was blinding.
This is why I want a little remote controlled flippy mirror for the back of my car
I'm really old so I just try to avoid driving after dark these days. lol
LEDs are simultaneously too bright for anyone else on the road and don't illuminate enough of the road for the person in the car, a real synergy of shitty technology that's everywhere anyway because it's cheap to mass produce
That's why I got a darker color of car.
100% agree.
Have you ever flashed your highbeams at someone because they're fucking airport landing light LED headlamps are so fucking bright and then have them blast you with their *actual* highbeams which for all intents and purposes appear like an atomic blast??
