One thing I hate, probably even more that hearing lies, is to repeat myself constantly because it just shows the person I’m talking to doesn’t value or bother themselves enough to understand me in any way.

it’s worse to get a misplaced “uh huh” imo like an obvious tell that someone’s not paying attention, if they don’t catch themselves afterwards and ask you to repeat yourself
