There's no way I'm going to do the full 31 days of the October Horror Movie Challenge, but I'm going to aim for 4. Kicked off with Freddy Vs. Jason (2003). It...met expectations. 20 minutes with jerks, final girl, lots of blood. Basic slasher. Robert Englund is bloody brilliant though, isn't he?
Finally found some more Kult inspiration for a scenario I've had in progress for a while now. Not the one I actually need to write for the upcoming folk horror season on the Raspy Raven - but at least I've got something new on the way. Might do a cover for it too.

Not much focus on comedy, beyond creative use of language in making use of traits. I think it's correctly assuming that the laughs come from the players having fun together, not the rules.
I've just had a browse through the new Discworld RPG quickstart and it looks lovely. Reminiscent of Fate with the trait concept, but without the metacurrency. Simple dice system. Probably one for the more experienced GM but should be very easy to play. Guess I'll be backing this one then.
I think that's a given. It might be the only way to defeat it.

AI is really helping me with scenario ideas right now. Not with a LLM, but by causing such ridiculous takes on social media I just have to figure out how it could get worse and I'm good to go. AI surgery bot runs amok in hospital, protected by tech bro cult, should be good for at least one session.
