There are aspects here that I think benefit from explicitly taught content and structured discussion, that establishing and narrating a school culture as a microcosm might not quite deliver on.

Agree. There are certain disciplines that enable us to look at specific ideologies to ensure PSHE isn’t viewed as a panacea.

I think you said the term might fit in a sociology essay, as opposed to teaching sociology. That’s why I was interested in your thoughts on how schools might approach appropriate space and scope to teach such ideas (albeit slightly less ridiculous)

An indicator of how to approach. I’ve not seen schools position TM as knowledge (and this might be the case!) but I wonder if this is an example of social media compensating/substituting formal education. Not ideal, but a pause for thought.

I think a lot of neologisms could be deemed at nebulous or outlandish, but I think it’s an interesting discussion in regards to how and why schools have a role in tackling key ideologies. If we consider the proposition of misogyny as hate crime as an example, schools will look to the curriculum as..
