YOU CANNOT GRIND THE BONES OF YOUR ENEMIES INTO DUST TOMORROW IF YOU DO NOT TOUCH SOMETHING SOFT.

It's the Giant Lizards book by Sprackland and I know I'm going to want all the critters once I start reading it lol. (I have an empty 2'x2'x8' wooden tank that's been tempting me for years.)

There has to be a word for that feeling of finally discovering the answer after hours of research and staring at images, because the book that's wormed into your brain has, of fucking course, a blue cover. Like, I just closed three windows and seventyish tabs.

If I could make a silly little story about these two in this slice-of-life kind of setting? Heck yeah, sign me up.

"While the State’s interest in protecting 'unborn' life is compelling, until that life can be sustained *by the State* -- and not solely by the woman compelled by the Act to do the State’s work -- the balance of rights favors the woman."

A male woolly bee fly hovers at a mistflower, collecting nectar. Dripping Springs, Texas.

Close-up photograph of a robust, yellowish-white fuzzball of an insect with a black needle-like proboscis the length of its body stuck into a lavender-colored flower with threadlike petals. The background is a blurry natural green, and the insect is hovering.

One of the most remarkable photos ever taken. And it is impossible to comprehend the scale of it. Taken by Hubble, it is a jet of gas being fired out of a supermassive black hole. The jet is 3,000 light years long (1 light year = 6 trillion miles!). Full amazing story👉 mashable.com/article/blac...

In the darkness of space a single shining star is emitting a jet of light blue gas
