Not really. Not in that regard. The EPC - here, at least, but ours captures more detail than in UK - is just to estimate heat loss. It doesn't mandate air permeability testing so can't tell how draughty. It's not feasible to determine the heat loss of that window, which may have a damaged seal

That's what I mean the glazed unit seals have failed and the xenon has escaped, the U value must be less than what it should be...however, the assessor doesn't know what it is or what is was and putting "partially double glazed" isn't true either! TLDR - lay folks expect it to do stuff it doesn't!

I just so hate these mandated 'consumer' energy use guesses. The criteria used by the 3 day trained 'assessors' is predicated on a 'Which' style 'best buy'. No account is taken of orientation, ventilation losses, or a 'whole year' calculation. Let alone quality of craftmanship. Rant over!

Here, there are default values based on age profiles. If you don't have documentation to support the use of non-default values, then you have to use default values. Here, if you were audited, as an assessor, and had entered values without supporting evidence,you get penalty points
