I once tried to watch an episode of Mind Your Language… even ignoring the racism it was slow going. Humour is just ephemeral even though at the time it feels it’s alighting on eternal truths.

The Prisoner is still just as weird as when it was first broadcast. Edge of Darkness and Cracker remain brilliant.
