What itā€™s actually good at is not writing (or thinking hah) but reading. Which makes sense given what it is. My best experiences with it have been when wrestling with a tricky piece of text reading (yes, even Iā€¦), I can read the whole thing out to it and discuss with it what it could mean.

I spent a couple of days this week wrestling with chat gpt about an event I was pretty sure never happened, and could find no mention of in English or Japanese (including going back to newspapers at the time), but that it was insistent did happen. Its certainty was really unsettling.
