Well it's a trial for drugs that were previously prescribed and used for decades without incident and which aren't banned anywhere else in the world, oh and you can only get treatment if you agree to be included in a trial, which seems less than ethical, so probably not

The spin on that article left me dizzy.

It'll help patients receiving treatment, although I'm sure they'll find ways to design the study to ensure it finds no benefit (e.g. only offering treatment to 17-year-olds, after major pubertal changes have already occurred).
