Because your basic premise is that this would be better than a search function, but your prime example (Google blurbs) doesn't even work, despite having the entire Google cloud driving it.

I never said googles blurbs work, my whole point is I feel like Google has been getting worse for years and I'm hoping for something more functional where I can maybe actually control what goes in.
