I hear you. I've been feeling this since... about 2008 The current cycle may arise from a pushback against doomism that is both tactically and strategically valid IMO, but is also easily co-opted into "anything that isn't shiny and happy (and a two-EV garage) is not OK". And that's some bullshit.
