i went to a vigil for palestine tonight and held a sign that said “this jew is against genocide”. people hugged me and we cried together. not one ill word spoken about jews. not one word about violence or revenge. it was truly peaceful. i felt safe and welcome. go be with your palestinian neighbors.

people inquired about the well-being of my family. people said they just wanted to go home and live in peace. they said they knew judaism wasn’t a violent religion. they differentiated between zionism and judaism. they begged for everyone to speak out to try and save lives and call for a ceasefire.

I'm glad to hear this. maybe the rhetoric is changing. I certainly hope it is.
