All these garbage techbro "innovations" and "advanced" technology like puppeting a discount extra from Will Smith's "I, Robot" when all humanity needs to progress is a device that accurately infers intentions behind words and actions online and offline.

Ordered a sleep mask and the promo email tells me "Welcome to the 'movement'". One of us has misunderstood the term "sleep mask". I'd prefer no movement at all.

I don’t take humanoid robots too seriously because in most situations an actually functional design would either look like a forklift or a horrific bug

UX failure #2 You complete an Amazon Fresh order and it informs you some items are unavailable. It automatically adds them to your basket for your next order. There is no way to disable this. Imagine ordering stuff for e.g. a party. It assumes you'd still need them like 2 weeks later.

UX failure #1 Order Amazon Fresh, by first specifying a delivery time slot, and then selecting items. It doesn't tell you which are unavailable in that slot until the penultimate page. Because they don't know how long you'll spend looking for items? They'd still know earlier in many cases.

That thing when you pay to buy a product and are immediately inundated with online ads for the exact same. Meaning, I paid extra to have my online life interrupted, with content I am obviously uninterested in.
