It's unavoidable, the themes at heart need the stories to go certain ways but corporate mandates beat story every time. Krakoa is a perfect example, it launched with a 3 act plan but the office liked the first act so much they dropped the rest then panic rushed sloppy new end once sales slumped.
The fall of Krakoa would have been the perfect time to eliminate them all too. Oh well, missed opportunities have long been a hallmark for X-Men.
Jean almost always ends up with wrong writers, instead of complex and pained character we get endlessly sacrificial mcguffin in service of other character's arcs. I said for years they need to Jason Todd on Scott, Charles, and Magneto. 25+ years without any of them could only be good for series.
Poor Jean. She can be great without him but always has his ass shackled around her neck for over 50 odd years. Really, he needed to go so many times. There is no reason to not leave him at the bottom of the ocean anymore, except corporate brand reasons.
Everyone would switch Scott for Ororo and if they wouldn't they aren't worth listening to. No one needs that kind of negativity in their lives.
Tea is great. I sometimes get really deep into the various methods of making coffee and love experimenting with different coffee drinks. I haven't tried making my own tea blends yet. Ooooo. That sounds fun.
Yes to both. Though I guess coffee edges it a bit.
Yeah. Totally Killer is very much a blend of this and Happy Death Day.
She has been begging for years. I know, without QUESTION, she will be all over it.
This is a good one. The pair who made this also did that new Russell Crow Exorcism movie (the one where he's an actor, not the one where he's a priest)
