Was it the shortage? I'm on the same, but still trying to work out the right dose. When I started trying ADHD meds, I wasn't expecting there to be such an improvement to mood. Like - these meds are meant to help you organise your thoughts, right? But are they actually irritability suppressants?

I was in Vyvanse 30mg which wasn't enough but was therapeutic (I have to be careful because I have sinus tachycardia) but went down to Vyvanse 20mg with 5mg of Dex. It just wasn't enough of a full day effect. I'm back to 30mg with 5mg of Dex and that seems to be the sweet spot.

Yeah it was the shortage. Also, ADHD meds tackle any depression and anxiety caused by ADHD, which means they can have massive depression/anxiety impacts that no other meds have ever touched before. (Also ADHD rage is a thing, if you haven't looked it up already, so yes meds can help with that!)
