There's lots of themes of fathers and their children, abuse and privilege, connections and that which tears them apart. And there's a really interesting structure to the story that explains Boruto's character, but I don't want to spoil it for you.

I'll be honest, I hate the way they made Naruto continue the line of absent fathers (regardless of reason) cuz I personally don't think it matches his whole family Idea, but maybe reading it a bit will give me some peace with it
