I can't speak for all American Jews, but for me at least, a presidential candidate saying there's Good Jews (ones who vote for him) and Bad Jews (ones who don't) and if he loses the election it was "rigged" and he'll blame Jews, is a lot more concerning than some college students denouncing Israel.

COVID infections go up, as I recall, at the same rate in the winter months for much the same reasons. Being indoors more, closer proximity, etc. Can't disagree on healthcare providers helping with the spread. Universal paid sick leave for all would really help to drive these numbers down.

The U.S. doesn't know how to address any social problems outside of criminalization. And criminalization actually doesn't address the roots of any social problems. So here we are with a massive criminalized population and even more social problems.

How do those numbers compare to their risks from other viruses such as influenza? And I'm not saying we shouldn't be cautious, but maybe we should exercise the same caution with other viruses.
