The only problem with living in a spot that is surrounded by trees is that when you see signs of a really good sunset, you have to drop everything, hop on your bike and race to an open area. I managed to hit two good spots tonight, and probably reached my top speed on my bike between them.
Worth it! Wow I am so out of practice chasing sunsets recently but yeah when you get a glimpse (or even better capture a cool image of a really wild light show on the clouds like this it is so satisfying!
You can just look at the top free apps list for all apps and find that Bluesky is number 6 overall at this time. Threads is still number 1. Instagram is number 11.
Relief! They should still announce Switch 2 of course
The second pic is weird yes lol
FedEx is sus lately. Few weeks ago I suddenly had two Chewy orders in a row left at my mailbox, which is 50 feet from the house on a through road. They decided dumping it out the truck door was enough! Hasn’t happened again with other FedEx deliveries but I did notify Chewy so maybe that fixed it.
Was not well connected for early invite, don't post much, etc, so this is appropriate I guess. Funny story tho, after I finally got this invite from a friend, just a few weeks later I got the invite direct from Bluesky that I had submitted my email for so many months earlier.
FWIW I wouldn’t have known without you mentioning it (I saw one of your earlier mentions as well) so I appreciate you calling it out. Not something in my vocab at all anyway but still always very good to know of this kind of surreptitious use.
You mean you're not on the short list?
I don't remember when or where I first read that but here is one possibility, plus a newer paper that uses the albuterol case as an example www.motherjones.com/environment/...www.researchgate.net/publication/...
