That should have been „reflex” but almost I prefer „remedy”

Related thoughts; Most people I know pronounce „xol” as „zol/sol”, and I am not so picky as to correctly anyone, but as you say here the X would make a SH sound, as in „Xolotl” (ʃolot͡ɬ/SHo-lot[l])

It is the natural remedy to pronounce it this way!
