On a road trip when I was 11, my dad spotted a group off the road we were exploring & thought "what the heck, let's pull over." It was the 1st California condors being reintroduced into the wild. Dad wept. He'd followed the conservation efforts for years & got to see the release totally by chance.

I personally know the rando in question and unfortunately, he really was a lifelong Democratic voter. Everyone is wondering what the hell happened to him. But his podcast seems to be doing well

Johnson is a right wing extremist. My take is that he doesn’t want to interrupt GOP reelection campaigns and he knows that any harm to disaster relief will only harm Biden and Harris politically. Wouldn’t be surprised if he justifies this by thinking God is protecting the faithful in NC

Wildlife bridges! They cost like a million dollars but they genuinely work; animals really use them and it cuts down on car accidents involving deer and other critters dramatically. Plus you get a bridge built in your name! Tremendous bang for your buck.

This is encouraging as someone who is pushing 40 and has noticeably thinning hair on the top of my head. I hate how many guys will just tell you to shave your head the second your hairline changes. I’d like to age the way *I* want to, although it may keep me single forever
