Soul Reaver and Rollcage? Nothing improved and both crashed my AMD driver software. Seems to be a roll of the dice on if the game works or not.
Spyro and Alien Trilogy worked well, and they generally felt like I was getting a good 60 FPS in most cases. This is kind of what I always wanted with Spyro since I could upscale it. Alien Trilogy works well as an FPS with 60 FPS is a good match. Weirdly it felt like I had stick drift, but on a dpad
Tested Rollcage, Legacy of Kain: Soulreaver, Spyro the Dragon and Alien Trilogy with the frame boosting AFMF2 tech. The results were... mixed. When AFMF works well, it gives what seems to be smooth 60+ FPS, but this typically works from a 30 FPS base that Duckstation puts out at 60, so messy.
Reminds of Doom 2016: Everyone seemed to think it would be a dumpster fire, but it turned out well. Always nice to see!
While I don't have any screenshots or videos (vid capture does not work well with it) using the AFMF2 thing AMD just launched to get a higher FPS in stuff is interesting. I don't advise it for boomshoots (too much lag) but for framelocked titles and emulated games it is cool.
I may use second hand jokes about how Japan's tech is behind the curve, but I will absolutely never knock one fact Japan ill always beat the US and Europe on: Infrastructure. Japanese public infrastructure is rarely broken and is kept in top shape all the time. The UK was lucky if the phones worked
Passing some Americans and hearing them say Japan is "not as hi-tech" as they thought. Japan is absolutely hi-tech and very technology focused, its just very much 1990s hi-tech.
One thing the Bluesky algorithm seems to not understand is that no matter how many times I click on "not interested" on Kpop related things, it keeps showing me Kpop.
asia.nikkei.com/Politics/Jap... Not what I anticipated, but if obvious if you were not looking at the most nationalistic outcome. Kinda average, but with sparks of interest here and there. Very LDP, very Japanese Prime Minister.
