While I don't have any screenshots or videos (vid capture does not work well with it) using the AFMF2 thing AMD just launched to get a higher FPS in stuff is interesting. I don't advise it for boomshoots (too much lag) but for framelocked titles and emulated games it is cool.

Passing some Americans and hearing them say Japan is "not as hi-tech" as they thought. Japan is absolutely hi-tech and very technology focused, its just very much 1990s hi-tech.

One thing the Bluesky algorithm seems to not understand is that no matter how many times I click on "not interested" on Kpop related things, it keeps showing me Kpop.

asia.nikkei.com/Politics/Jap... Not what I anticipated, but if obvious if you were not looking at the most nationalistic outcome. Kinda average, but with sparks of interest here and there. Very LDP, very Japanese Prime Minister.

Today continues yesterday's trend of being relatively cool. Outside when I set out to work it was 22 degrees, which is positively refreshing compared to the past two months in the day. The amusing thing is, today would be considered really warm back in Yorkshire. Here it is a nice, cool day. 😎

Just stepped out to get a bite to eat and... it's 20 degrees! The part of Kanagawa I live in has not dropped under 25 in many, many months. This actually feels kind of cool!

That's more than a new one was about a month ago.

japan.kantei.go.jp/97_abe/cabin... Hum... looks like Sanae Takaichi nay actually end up as the first female Japanese prime minister. While I know some will see that as a victory, this has the trappings of British politics about it. The first British female prime minister was Margaret Thatcher.
