I would call Gex 2 a guilty pleasure but I unironically liked this game as a kid. It was just so damn goofy and I actually like the one liners. I also liked this particular collect-a-thon format and mechanics, something as simple as the "coins" changing once you hit a threshold is genius IMO

I instantly fell in love with Metal Fatigue when my dad came home with it one day even if I was super bad. I hadn't played one that let you customize your units in such a way or had 3 combat fields at once, plus assembling an army of Combots to annihilate a base feels so satisfying
