My heart is broken. I’ve never supported the death penalty and after this, I don’t know how anyone can support it. I was taught in law school that it’s better to let ten guilty people go free than to execute an innocent person. I guess that was bullshit.

Even if you only care about putting away bad guys you should fight questionable convictions. The hunt for the real bad person(s) stop once there is a conviction. Innocent people in jail means real murders/rapists/etc on the streets.
