If you are struggling to make art but you don't really know why - analyze how your brain responds to the thought of drawing. If the response you feel is DREAD.... you are burnt out. Stop. Do Not Pass Go. Do Not Work on that Art Piece. You NEED to take a break. Yes it's mandatory. Here's the thing:

art you enjoy viewing isn't necessarily art you will enjoy making. don't snuff out your original voice to try to be more like somebody else if it doesn't fit your workflow.

Are you thinking about making art? Go make it! Are you worried that you will be bad at it? Do It anyway! Worried that nobody will like it? Who cares! Set your hesitations aside and just start creating. You will not regret it.
If you're sketchbook-shy, simply have 2 Sketchbooks simultaneously: - One for the "pretty drawings", with nicer, high quality paper - One, literally for the trash, where you do the anatomy studies and other tests and trials, can literally be an unused planner from 2016 or something similar
