Returning to Welcome to Night Vale, starting back at the very beginning since it’s been a few years, given the TTRPG on Backerkit. What a weird, wonderful podcast.

Me at 10pm last night was way more ambitious about what I could get done today than I presently am.

I hike trails near my house with almost daily frequency, and I am far less anxious about almost anything else as I am about when people flagrantly ignore leash laws and let their dogs just charge full-tilt at strangers. No, thanks. I’ll offer Fido up to the local fae before risking getting bitten.

Universe threw me a bone in the form of 2’s Covid, RSV, and flu tests all coming back negative. Thank goodness.

Going to be entirely unhinged in the worst ways, so sorry in advance I guess. Didn’t have Bluesky when Smol Bean had RSV the first time (assuming the worst) and it fucked me up. Really hoping this is just a bad night and things chill the fuck out.

Any spare good vibes would be appreciated. Mother-in-law had to take 2 to Children’s Hospital because he woke up wheezing and coughing. He was taken right back for a breathing treatment. He spent a week in the hospital in 2022 for RSV and that alone has me in a full blown panic.

Definitely chipped a tooth. Didn’t even need visual confirmation because I went from “Well, I’m due for my teeth to be cleaned” to “I feel like someone is punching me in the face over and over forever” in less than a day. Damn me.
