Within the next 6 months, half the global human population will be facing water shortages. That’s over 4 billion people facing water scarcity during 2025. This is from Bloomberg - not from an alarmist eco-communist website.
With half of the world’s population facing water scarcity, The Future with Hannah Fry explores how technology may be used to reverse an increasingly dire spiral.
Ha ha, absolutely. I put the plate on facing the right way so I have a surface to use for other things. Stackable. I usually have random leftovers in pots. So it can work, if I'm careful 😁
Yes, please... it's driving me insane. My hummus pot used to have a nice little lid. I've resorted to putting a side plate on top of the pot because I don't use cling film 😬
I agree. Too many interviews with 'the man on the street' giving totally ill-informed views on quite complex subjects. No real analysis of issues. The normalisation of Johnson's, and other MPs, lying and extreme behaviour (ha ha, it's Boris and his big personality). Yes, Chris Mason, enough said...
Worm image is stunning!
Yes, Thorup seems like a good guy 😁
Erm... have you had many takers for #ThickTrunkTuesday?
Looking good 👍
I empathise. My friend bought me a knitting kit for Christmas last year. It's a level 1, beginners kit, to knit a cowl. I have started it at least 6 times and I just can't get past the first two rows! I'll probably have another go, but at the moment, it is hidden at the back of my yarn drawer! 😟
Yes, I find knitting tricky too. I have been crocheting happily for years. One hand good; two hands tricky 😄
