I read your words again. š The work that Inworld does is not a job handled by writers. So how is it going to affect writing jobs? Again. Or are you saying we should just stick with dumb dialogue trees forever? I get you're anti-AI, but it happened. I don't have anything else to say ā®ļø
I'm surprised. I haven't seen an AI write as well as a human ever. Maybe for barks like "Buy my turnips!" I just had a game I worked on cancelled an everyone fired because of costs. Cutting costs and saving a game or studio saves jobs. I hope they make it.
I'm curious. What writer's rooms have been reduced because of AI? AI isn't anywhere near the level of ability of a professional writer. At all.
AI powered NPCs offer a completely different service than writers of dialogue trees can provide. If you prefer one over the other, thatās fine, but there is no reason to view it as an attack. š¤·
You think when you turn on your computer at 11 pm to play a game a live paid writer pops on to role play all 200 characters for you in real time? Thatās not how it works. AI driven NPCs donāt take jobs from writers. They do something writers donāt do and canāt do.
I actually canāt think of anyone I know well who doesnāt.
Oh wow... š«
I have been that kid and the parent of that kid. Great painting!
Itās a hell-scape.
