The reason we often feel that nothing we do as individuals is enough is because it isn't and because our actions are meant to be collective and cumulative. But for those actions to be collective, each of us must do our part.

I also find it weird when people talk about it as if it’s totally normal to fly everywhere all the time (to Scotland?! Gtfo). Like when they publicly admit to shoping on Amazon or whatever. You do you but have some shame at least.
Underrated thing about working on a climate project is the conversations about inconvenient non-flight travel (as the norm). I have family in places I can’t get trains and boats to, so I’m not saying never fly. But there is definitely a lot of flying that could be avoided.
