I missed out on the Empty Spaces community back in the day, but have made many friends who were once a part of it (they mostly say I got lucky to miss the almighty messes that came out of it). I do find myself drawn to some of the aspects, particularly symoathy with inanimate objects.
I'm pretty tired, at the moment. Events threw a lot at me and it dented my hard fought for sense of control over my life. Getting back up has been difficult; it took a lot of work and time to nurture a sense of genuine autonomy over the past few months.
Really excited to try and make things work! INT and CHA being highest stats is not a surprise, since it's me, but they are *terrible* to have both high at the same time 😅 Wizard or Sorcerer would work with my highest stats, but Paladin is a no-go with such pants STR. (Sorceraladin, maybe?)
So, I have just found out that there may be a case for trying to persuade my employer to upgrade its healthcare package so I can get a vagina on medical insurance dimes. Hmm...
Despite being widely criticised by the trans femme community for its inaccuracies, this SciShow video on HRT is still up in its original state and as far as I know there were never any apologies or corrections from the episode's producers.
Anyways, I'm probably taking a break from sharing much internal stuff for now. I hope it has helped folks, though I feel like I've covered everything I figured out recently. I kinda just wanna vibe with folks for now, y'know?
I've been very introspective the last few days, but here's something more extrinsic and positive: I took the initiative, reached out to someone, got a meeting set up, and had a lovely chat with them about becoming a journalist. I'm pretty proud of myself for working towards a long-held ambition 😊

Looked in the mirror last night and I finally saw myself wholly and completely as a girl. I cried and cried and cried, I was so happy. My entire life I wanted nothing more than to just look like someone I could recognise as myself, and now it's happening. It's worked. I'm so happy
