As you know, I have many strong thoughts on this. Starting with: Christina Romer was right & Obama should have listened to her, instead of Summers & Emanuel. And we could have avoided a Lost Decade.

Also..."people get their news from X" being a bad thing is kind of nonsensical. People get their news from cable, twitter, youtube, tiktok, etc... because you get news whereever you spend time. People also get news from random nitwit talks at get together, thats the worst imo

And fwiw, i have no opinion on which direction that miss looks like or how it manifests. I am not even confident at least some realignment isn't happening

*crosstabs* from early 2023-2024 have pretty consistently found a radical realignment among old voters and young voters of color. Post Kamala some of this has gone away, but sienna has been esp egregious. Could the realignment be happening? Maybe. More likely we could be in for a wild polling miss
