Yes, but the difference with those mods is that they're reversible and add functionality back. These are purely subtractive. If the appeal here is an authentic Saturn experience, why butcher authentic hardware? There's zero benefits here over just plugging the Saroo into a stock console.

Another YouTuber promoting these awful torn up "Saturn mini" consoles being sold on Aliexpress. This particular one is a VA15 motherboard, meaning it is very likely the flipper who sold this chopped up a rare This is Cool Skeleton or Derby Skeleton Saturn variant to make this. Disgusting.
