I've been saying for YEARS that we are yet again implementing technology without taking the time to deal with the ethics beforehand. All the articles about men abusing doing horrendous things to their "robot girlfriends" is deeply disturbing.

I got this vibe heavy when they showtf those prototype videos of them hitting the humaniform bot and taking its stuff. Even the body language of the people making the demo showed a certain hesitance and I was like "you know this is deeply evil."
