And again, She (and we) got *lucky*. She can take herself to the bathroom during the day with her walker. She doesn't need help using the bathroom. She does need help with getting in/out of the bathtub (we got a transfer bench for that), but her OT is handling that for now. 18/?

My caregiving right now has probably added 3 hrs into my day, which doesn't sound like a lot, but trust me, it IS. I take care of getting her meds set up, make sure she has tea/coffee throughout the day, bring her lunch and dinner, and then make sure she's got everything at bedtime. 16/?
Because Mom doesn't want me sleeping/living w/ her upstairs and because she is on 24/7 O2 (for years before the stroke) and uses a CPAP, we needed to find a quick way for her to safely use the bathroom in the middle of the night w/o needing to take off her CPAP and walk in the dark. 15/?
