#inktober day 11/ 30k poems page 11: "Honest Truth" 🫂 This one today is bittersweet, because I try to have a bit of everything in this poetry series! I especially like that last line, because it says: if everything is loveable, then so am I.

But years went by, and I haven't died yet (Sorry I tried to) Others did instead (Their absence incurable) Grief takes its toll and pound of flesh — Morbid how fearing death made me obsess Over a feeling now numb(er) The loss, a hole in my soles… I'm glad I stuck around so far. It's a lucky feat to be alive To fall in love everyday With the littlest things. I found out nothing is unloveable"
