Good blog this. Suella Braverman - hardly a figure of significance or substance who is going to pack out a room at CPAG earned £60,000 on the international speaking circuit, basically the same as she'd get for being leader of the opposition.

Braverman is actually very smart, though, and I think will continue to be able to walk the line of *just* staying inside the walls of the Tory party (unless she decides it is in her own interest to be 'forced' into Reform). But, uh, not all of the Tory MPs on this circuit are!

What do you think her shelf life for being able to get those speaking fees will be though? I can’t imagine that long. Her political capital looks pretty spent
