TBH what I am loving about the Chagos Islands is with every change of government, between or within parties, there’s a group of people whose analysis just becomes partisan whale noises and it has usefully flushed a bunch of people out.

How long until an article on if only the Isle of White was like Singapore we would be the leading power not just in Europe but the world? It does have a similar shape and distance from the ‘mainland’ along with a proximity to a major shopping lane. A little less oil refining mind you

There is a scene in Kung Fu Panda where he accidentally breaks a jar that contains the souls of past soldiers, the sound when that happens is precisely what I am imagining. Nicely done.
