Games I'd like to play in 2024: Old Gods of Appalachia Brindlewood Bay A horror TTRPG (open to suggestions) D&D

There are a couple of games built on the Brindlewood Bay engine that jump much farther into horror...

For horror I’d suggest Delta Green if you haven’t played yet!

Imp of the Perverse is very good, especially if you like Edgar Allan Poe (from which the game takes its name and inspiration)

Monster of the Week is a good horror game in a televisual style like X-Files or Supernatural Tales from the Loop can be used to run a Stranger Things style horror game with kids as the protagonists Mothership is for space horror like the Aliens series or Event Horizon

I wanna play Old Gods of Appalachia so bad I can't stand it. For horror- Call of Cthulhu is a classic. My long-time group did the East Texas University setting for Savage Worlds & it was fun times. I don't do super well at switching systems but some of these not-d&d ttrpgs are very fun worlds
