All You Need Is Death (Paul Duane, 2023) Very odd and affecting Irish folk-horror that reminded me a lot of Peter Strickland's oddball world building. A young couple travel hunt rare folk songs which they sell on what appears to be a healthy black market. #Film24 [18]

Then they find one which taps into something very old and very unpleasant. The bloody ending doesn't quite work but there are some great performances, especially Olwen Fouéré as the witchy keeper of an old folk song and Catherine Siggins as a rival song-collector. #Film24 [19]
