overall, ive realized the SU community is surprisingly queerphobic despite being one of the most diverse shows. the characters and yourself have to fit in this box, or you get a lot of hate. it's gotten better now that the community has been inactive but it's still shitty

remembering the time an artist i looked up to and was inspired by called me an allo despite being asexual and demiromantic, all over peridot's unclear asexuality. and proceeded to vague me on twitter. eeuughh. i hope they grew and changed as a person

there is something to be studied about misandrist/terf lesbians, because ive noticed a lot of infighting comes from that subcommunity

and of course, you have misandrist lesbians claiming lesbiphobia of anyone and rebecca because one character out of the many queer women in the show showed one slight interest in a man. wonderful (sarcasm)

i've genuinely been afraid of blocking people until the past two years because of how people will use it as a "gotcha" against you, it's genuinely horrible. you can't moderate your own space on there without summoning more people to make fun of you

you don't need to be super descriptive, either, writing the jist and mentioning every character in the image works just fine!!
