2024 games #20: Lorn's Lure Easily one of my favorites of the year. Incredible atmosphere with unique, great feeling first person platforming. It can get pretty precise at times, but in a fun and rewarding way. Looking forward to seeing what people do when modding support is added.

2024 games #19: Grapple Dogs Cosmic Canines The sequel to Grapple Dog which I really liked. This one exceeds its predecessor in every way I can think of. The movement is just so much fun and the new power ups shake things up in a fun way without losing focus. Big recommendation!

2024 games #18: Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair Saw people comparing this to Tropical Freeze which piqued my interest, and only got around to playing it this year. While I'm not sure I'd put it quite on that level, it's still great, and I liked the top-down 3D overworld a lot.

2024 games #17: The Room 3 Very fun puzzle game! Don't want to spoil anything but this game does something that I really, really liked. 1 and 2 I played last year so they're not on the list, but I already started 4, so that'll probably be on here pretty soon.

If Jak 2 was more like 1 except the hoverboard was given more focus as a main gameplay mechanic... would've been so good. I enjoy 2 and 3 for what they are but yeah nothing beats the first.
