My friend was telling me how they once thought homosexuality in sheep only happened with males but that’s because how female sheep signal their availability is by standing motionlessly so lesbian sheep being gay would just be them standing near each other doing nothing That’s like 90% of us on here

Having worked with Lillian-Yvonne in the past, including on their award-winning work, they are always working with & against technology. I’m interested to see what they did. Like many experimental writers of the past, they have an interest in what humanity is/does/looks like

I just finished the Waco doc on Netflix. I was too young to know what was going on, but I remember how it affected our entire culture for the decades following. There were immediate affects & some still persist. We’ll never know really what happened.

BREAKING: UPS reached an agreement with their workers! I think they realized they were gonna lose the PR war quickly when they realized a national strike was gonna ground a needed service to halt with people unable to get critical deliveries. That’s why strikes are useful.

on her feast day, my mary magdalene poem

Black Magdalene by Derrick Austin

In one version of her story,

she left Jerusalem for France

by boat, crossing a patrolled sea.

In France, she contemplated.

She dreamed not of Christ but Her

Ladies. Her Ladies sang. Her Ladies

marked the stars. Her Ladies revealed

the length of the gown of God.

She saw Her Ladies in trees,

black women climbing or reclining

on branches like blossoms,

and knew them in her heart.
