goodbye seunte, hello etnues
lmao. fantastic.
I think using the rules for risky/difficult/heroic checks is a good idea at least imo, if you don’t already! Straight narrative rolls in Lancer tend to be pretty easy once players have levelled triggers a bit
I mean, if the US or the UK did do so on that basis, who cares, I'd be happy, but like... it says nothing positive if the only reason you can imagine for why guns should not be going to the IDF right now is your own economic nationalism
its an interesting group because unlike most games ive run, basically everybody is a maladjusted antisocial weirdo and there is no face whatsoever RP has been great on the players part mind, the characters just cannot interact with normal NPCs without showing five red flags per sentence
Yep lol. highlight of these kinds of games
This was an agreed upon consequence with the player, ftr I am pretty liberal with handing out harm to players as narrative consequences generally though. I also run skill checks as risky by default usually.
While fighting their way to their mechs said player took a hit from the ‘wash to clear the way for the others. they also took a bullet to the shoulder. then failed some rolls after the ensuing mech fight to seek medical attention.
Stuck their arm in grey goo : ) (Party were attacked by insurgents, who infiltrated the train they were on. Infiltrators were packing manportable greywash weapons)
