My problem is I've been directly told the exact opposite of this by a few artists I used to admire. Like their words, "comments are creepy because I didn't ask for your validation." I wish I was exaggerating :|

That's wild, if they didn't want comments they could turn them off... 💀 In my experience... artists who pick on the people that reply to them are just not great people to begin with. The vast majority of artists definitely want feedback. I'm so sorry someone said that to you
