How can we split people in smaller groups algorithmically, and keeping the rest of the world discoverable if they wish.. This seems pretty hard to solve.
Effective community moderation should be applied to small groups like subreddits, which Reddit has done great. Bluesky was the perfect size for moderation before the recent influx. Smaller groups create social pressure, dissuading people from posting abhorrent content.
