100%. The scale is nuts. The team I’m working with has 25k+ databases (not counting DR). There are so many interesting challenges with this including the most basic of how do you even start when the scale of the problems is so vast. But I’m loving it even though it’s completely overwhelming at times
Haven’t posted much about the new job, but I’ll say that I’m dealing with a scale of problems I’ve not seen before. Last week one db had just a few deadlocks - 10k over two days. Creating the correct index for the queries dropped it to zero. Celebrate the small wins.
