Ofc political misinfo gets more attention but the buc-ees mac-n-cheese pool shows just how much tech companies have let GenAI degrade folks’ everyday sense of reality. Despite being clearly ai generated, there’s no label and there’s not even a way to report ai generated images on Facebook.

A family member recently shared this image from their Facebook TL with me. When I asked, they had no idea it was AI Generated.

In Texas you must request to be registered, you cannot register online (the form is mailed or hand-carried to HQ), and you must be registered 30 days before an election to vote in it. So if you’re not registered by Oct 7, you’re not voting in Texas this election. Check your reg!
