I'm supporting this magical, inspiring project, created in a local Devon woodland by my good friend Elizabeth-Jane Baldry (harpist & folklorist). The video explains what it's all about. Please contribute if you possibly can, and share to help spread the word. www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/great-oak-...

"In order to create there must be a dynamic force, and what force is more potent than love?" - Igor Stravinsky A misty morning in Devon. Lottie's companionship. Roses from my husband. A room full of love. It's been a hard month for reasons I won't go into, but it's time to create again.

Thank you to all who came to Chagford's first "Celebrating the Earth" event of the Autumn season. And to Elizabeth-Jane Baldry & Tom Fynn for an enchanting evening of music (on classical & Celtic harp), spoken word and the whisper of trees.... The next CtE event is on Thurs, 24 Oct. More info soon.

I'm back from Scotland and back in the studio, slowly catching up on work and email. I'm glad I got to see so many friends at #WorldCon, and I apologise to those I somehow missed in the whirlwind of it all. The con was great - but it's also good to be home and to see this little face again.

It's going to be hard getting on a train to Glasgow this week and leaving this girl behind (with my mother-in-law). Just look at that little face....

If you're going to #Glasgow2024, please look for the Dartmoor Mythic Arts exhibition featuring prints by Brian Froud, Wendy Froud, Alan Lee, Virginia Lee, Marja Lee Kruyt, David Wyatt, Rima Staines, Danielle Barlow, CS Saunders & me. Virginia Lee's painting here is one of 100+ images in the show.
