Democrats simply refuse to perform any of the political performances even when completely justified. So afraid of being attacked for ‘politicizing’ a situation while the Republicans hold hearings on all the disaster money going to buy illegal immigrants new iPhones.
Does it make any difference to your analysis that, as was pointed out upthread, Biden *did* do this and Johnson said “No”?
