To me, that looks like either people are better at hitting BCS’s voice OR Uncanny’s target is smaller. But - I also don’t have access your numbers. I’m only looking at overall acceptance percentage on Submission Grinder. I fully accept I may be misunderstanding what I’m looking at

There are too many confounding factors that you can't interpret from the data. Solicitations, budget, reading process. There's a real danger in getting obsessed with data without the tools to actually interpret it.

BCS has a very specific voice and it's clear what that voice is. I send stories first to BCS when I'm trying for that voice, because I _know_ which of my stories are closest to that fit, and because I also _know_ I'll get feedback on whether I managed that specific voice.
